The 11th season of the EGCA Champions League will begin as a qualification stage in Peterborough, Great Britain. The tournament is hosted by Fen Tigers in co-operation with European Goalball Club Association and GoalballUK. It will be historical moment as the first ever EGCA Competition in UK.

The tournament will run between 21st – 23rd February featuring 8 participating clubs from 7 countries. There are 2 preliminary groups:
Group A: Old Power (FIN), Füchse Berlin (GER), Northern Allstars (GBR), Sporting CP (POR)
Group B: Ha. Vi. 2 Bruxelles (BEL), CSAVH Lyon (FRA), Aarhus Goalball (DEN), Fen Tigers (GBR).
There is a single round robin played in the preliminary groups. Then there is the knock out stage as we have quarter finals, semifinals, medal & placement games. Top 3 clubs of the tournament will secure their spots at the Final Stage of the season that will be held in Matosinhos, Portugal in June.
LIVESTREAM & SOCIAL MEDIA
All the games will be livestreamed on GoalballTV YouTube channel. Games will be commentated by Bradley Hope and co-commentated with various goalball individuals.
Result updates will come the quickest on Fen Tigers Goalball Facebook page. Also EGCA social media channels will follow actively the tournament.

Attention: Teams ranking in the tournament with single or double round robin as well as in group stage will be determined as follow:
a) Earned points;
b) Goal Difference;
c) Missed Goals;
d) If parameters A – C are equal between two teams, better is a team who has won their respective match;
e) If the respective match has finished tie, better is a team who has led at half time;
f) If parameters are still equal and two teams are competing for the place at the Final Stage there will be organized extra throws competition to determine the Champions League finalist
