EGCA is starting the process to develop the work for next generations in goalball clubs of Europe. One important part of this process is to offer more possibilities for clubs to participate in international competitions.
During year 2022 youth club teams can take part in SEGL-U23 tournaments which will be organized during two European Grand Prix stages:
- Euro GP South: 1st – 3rd July, Athens, Greece
- Euro GP North: 19th – 21st August, Espoo, Finland
- Euro GP Central: 26th – 28th August, Wroclaw, Poland

SEGL-U23 CHAMPIONSHIPS 2023
EGCA will organize in the end of 2023 the 1st edition of the SEGL-U23 Championships; a big major competition for each goalball club in Europe who has U23 team in its roster. There will be also a seminar day before the start of the competition. The aim of the seminar is development of youth goalball in the clubs; we will have exciting speakers on interesting themes and some workshops where people have a chance to share experiences, opinions and ideas.
We will start to look for the host of the first edition of the SEGL-U23 Championships on Tuesday 11th October 2022 when we will publish the digital registration form. The registration will be open till Friday 9th December 2022 and the host and dates will be announced on Thursday 15th December 2022.
