Welcome to the official web page of the EGCA – Champions League 2025 – Rostock Stage. This stage is one of the 3 qualification stages during the season 2025 and it will run between 7th – 9th March in Rostock, Germany. Three best clubs of the tournament will be qualified to the Final Stage of the Champions League 2025 that will be held in Matosinhos, Portugal in June. Teams that will be ranked at places 4-8 have a chance to take part in the EGCA European Cup 2025 in the end of the year.
The Rostock Stage is head organized by RGC Hansa together with European Goalball Club Association. The venue of the tournament is CJD Campus (address: Groß Schwaßer Weg 11, 18057 Rostock). The floor material of the play court is taraflex.

There are 8 participating clubs from 7 different countries in the tournament and they are divided in two groups of 4 teams:
Group A: RGC Hansa (GER), ASD Omero Bergamo (ITA), Invasport Ukraine (UKR), FSBU Gothenburg (SWE)
Group B: NGA Lions-Acme (LTU), SSG Blista Marburg (GER), Näpäjä (FIN), GC Perun (CZE)
There is a single round robin played at the Group stage. After the Group stage the quarter finals will be played in following system:
- The winner of the Group A – 4th of the Group B
- The 2nd of the Group B – 3rd of the Group A
- The winner of the Group B – 4th of the Group A
- The 2nd of the Group A – 3rd of the Group B
The winners of the quarter finals will play in the semifinals and medal games of the tournament. The losers of the quarter finals will play for places 5-8 in the tournament.
Attention: Teams ranking in the tournament’s group stage will be determined as follow:
a) Earned points;
b) Goal Difference;
c) Missed Goals;
d) If parameters A – C are equal between two teams, better is a team who has won their respective match;
e) If the respective match has finished tie, better is a team who has led at half time;
F. If all the parameters above are tied, then we will have extra throw competition to determine the order of teams.
