The season 2025 was the 11th season in the EGCA – Champions League (former name Super European Goalball League) that is managed by the EGCA Competition Committee. The season included three qualification stages and the Final Stage.

Saltinis from Lithuania was the reigning Champion of the Champions league; the club has won three Champion titles in a row and total 6 Champion titles during the Champions League history. Sporting CP from Portugal has won the Champions League twice, Invasport Ukraine (UKR) and Old Power (FIN) once. Ha. Vi. 2 Bruxelles from Belgium became the 5th Champion club of the Champions League when they won the title at the Final Stage in Matosinhos, Portugal by beating the German club RGC Hansa in the gold medal game by final score 11-8.

Marcin Czerwinski of BRUK-BET Termalica Krakow was the top scorer of the whole season with remarkable 83 goals. The best scorer of the Final Stage was Nikola Nikolic (GC Niksic) and and John Turloff (RGC Hansa) was awarded as the most valuable player of the Final Stage.

QUALIFICATION STAGES

There were three (3) qualification stages on season 2025 and there were maximum eight (8) participating clubs in each of them so the total number of participating clubs was 23 at the qualification stages when there were only 7 participants at the Podgorica Stage. Three (3) best clubs of each stage will be qualified to the Final Stage together with the host club of the Final Stage so total 10 clubs will fight for the European Championships medals at the Final Stage.

There are following three (3) qualification stages:

PETERBOROUGH STAGE: 21st – 23rd February 2025, Peterborough, Great Britainorganized by Fen Tigers

Qualified clubs: Ha. Vi. 2 Bruxelles (BEL), Old Power (FIN), CSAVH Lyon (FRA)

ROSTOCK STAGE: 7th – 9th March 2025, Rostock, Germany organized by RGC Hansa

Qualified clubs: RGC Hansa (GER), Näpäjä (FIN), NGA Lions (LTU)

PODGORICA STAGE: 21st – 23rd March, Podgorica, Montenegro organized by GC Niksic

Qualified clubs: BRUK-BET Termalica Krakow (POL), GC Niksic (MNE), Nilüfer Belediüesi (TUR)

FINAL STAGE

The Final Stage was held in Matosinhos, Portugal on 18th – 22nd June 2025 organized by ANDDVIS and FC Porto. FC Porto was automatically qualified to the Final Stage as the host club together with three (3) nbest clubs of each stage, total 10 participating clubs.

WOMEN’S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2025

Women’s Champions League 2025 tournament will be organized first time on own competition weekend and it will take Place in Berlin, Germany on 6th – 10th November organized by the reigning Champion of the Women’s Champions League Füchse Berlin.
