
Welcome to the official web page of the EGCA Odivelas Grand Prix 2025. The tournament will be held in Odivelas, Portugal between 5th – 7th September 2025 head organized by Clube Atlético e Cultural.

REGISTRATION

Registration for the tournament will run from 5th March to 15th June. There are maximum 8 participating clubs in the tournament. Below you can find the registration and athlete regulations.
Registration regulation:
(1) Each goalball club in Europe who is official EGCA member can register in the tournament. If you are not yet EGCA member, please register quickly and easily here.
(2) Clubs are approved to the tournament in following order:
A. The host club
B. Another club from the organizing country
C. All the clubs in registration order, so please be quick to ensure your Place in the tournament
D. If there are more than 8 registered clubs we approve first one club / country except the organizing country which has automatically two spots in the tournament
Athlete regulations:
(1) Athletes from each gender who comply with IBSA standards can participate;
(2) Teams can be consisted by women, men or mixed;
(3) A team must name minimum 4 and can name maximum 6 athletes to its squad at the EGCA Grand Prix stage;
(4) Each EGCA Grand Prix stage is own separate tournament and a team can participate each EGCA Grand Prix stage with different line-up;
(5) Unclassified athletes (also sighted) are allowed at a EGCA Grand Prix stage;
(6) 2 foreign athletes are allowed at the EGCA Grand Prix stage. The foreign athlete is an athlete who is not living permanently or have a nationality of a country where a team comes from.
Attention: In unclear situations, EGCA may ask the athlete to provide proof of residence;
(7) A male athlete who are over 20-years-old and have participated in the Champions League stage during the same year is not eligible to participate at a EGCA Grand Prix stage;
(8) Also a male athlete who has represented his country in last IBSA Goalball European Championships (A, B or C Division) is not eligible to participate at a EGCA Grand Prix stage without a special permission. The special permission should be requested from the EGCA Competition Committee that reviews each case individually;
(9) Participation in the EGCA Grand Prix doesn’t prevent an athlete to participate in the Women’s Champions league or Youth Championships. Also an athlete can participate in the EGCA European Cup.
(10) Failure to comply with registration rules results in a 10-0 loss in the game.
ENTRY FEE
Entry fee is 190 € / person and it includes:
- Airport transportation as well as the transportation between the hotel and the venue;
- Accommodation at the 4 -star hotel in double or triple rooms between Friday 5th – Sunday 7th September. A single room is available for extra cost. Extra nights are available, request from the organizer;
- Meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) from Friday 5th September dinner till Sunday 7th September lunch;
- Attention: The City tax is not included in the entry fee and it is 1 € / person / night.
