The unforgettable first ever EGCA – Youth (U23) Championships were held on 2nd – 5th November 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden and we want more! EGCA Competition Committee is looking for now host candidates to organize the 2nd edition of the Youth Championships in 2024.

All the requirements and responsibilities of the organizer of the Youth Championships are presented along the registration form. Please read them carefully before you make your registration.
Registration time will run from Friday 1st December 2023 to Friday 2nd February 2024 and the host and date of the Youth Championships 2024 will be announced on Friday 9th February 2024.
TIME WINDOW FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIPS AND PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE
EGCA – Youth Championships 2024 can be organized between October – December 2024.
The preliminary schedule of the Championships is following:
- Thursday: Arrival of teams and referees
- Friday: 1st competition day
- Saturday: 2nd competition day
- Sunday: Final competition day, medal ceremony and departure of teams
EGCA’s President, Mr. Erkki Miinala, is brimming with joy and enthusiasm following the successful inaugural Youth Championship in Stockholm:
“We had eight amazing teams at the historic Stockholm tournament, which showcased the fantastic work our clubs across Europe are doing with young athletes. Our young athletes need and deserve more international competition experiences, so our goal at EGCA is to establish these Young Championships as an annual tradition,” Miinala states and continues:
“The Stockholm-based clubs, Aktiva Synskadade and Hammarby IF Goalball, hosted a fantastic event, and now we are seeking the best possible successor to continue this work”.
